Prompt, good value and honest - don't try to sell you new machine if your old one is faulty. Have dealt with them for 20 years and never had a problem - buy all my white goods from them - always provide good advice.

Turned up as the 'engineer' to come and assess my 10 month old dishwasher as part of the manufacturers warranty. Walked in to the house while on his phone. Looked at my machine for 20 seconds and said it's been "installed incorrectly", therefore voids my warranty claim (even though it was done by a reputable kitchen installation company). He took no pictures, pulled nothing apart, didn't open a control panel or anything. I questioned what he was doing with a screwdriver but within a split second he said "nevermind, i'll just file my report". He reported the installation back to the manufacturers and they have accepted that it is void of its warranty. I have since phoned him to ask what's wrong with the installation and he blatantly just lied down the phone to me about a seal not lining up (the first i heard ever heard about it). He also said the manufacturer "pays his wages" which kind of sums it up. I mean he wouldn't be a decent contractor for them if he made them pay out on new machines or repairs all the time!!
