I first found out about AWJ Automotive in July 2021. I have required help from the garage quite a few times due to various issues that keep arising due to the cars age and condition when purchased from a different garage. I have been so impressed with the customer service skills and quality of work carried out. I would even go as far to say it’s been the best experience I’ve had with a garage so far. The staff are always friendly and always go above and beyond to ensure you get the best quality service. Thank you to everyone at AWJ Automotive.

Less of a Big Cat roar more of Hyenas chuckle! On entering I informed the operative I had changed my registration number which was received with a raised eyebrow and sarcastic 'go on then' followed by a huff. I was Booked in for substantial work, the timing chain and a service, which to me was a large financial commitment. On going to collect my pride and joy I was greeted with a litany of problems discovered during the service, all gleefully detailed, with other members of staff coming into the reception to obviously listen to my reaction. Many of the problems did not concern me; numerous petty items such as carpets not correctly fixed and anything else to make the list seemingly as long as possible. On being informed of corrosion problems with the inner sills I requested a quote for repair. Unfortunately this is apparently below their standards, as they do not carry out any labour intensive restoration, such as welding. Helpfully, after being told of all the faults, they reminded me that I had a substantial bill to pay. Other garages I've used would of seen the 'faults' and informed me of the problems before carrying out the work and given me the choice of continuing. Not AWJ. When I dropped off the car there were no warning lights. On collection there was a coolant level warning - apparently the cars fault. This was followed by DSC and engine warning - luckily being on a forum this was explained as a battery problem - the one thing not listed as a fault. Also it seems the car was not worthy of a proper service - as it needed a litre of oil to be added - which makes me worry what else was not correctly done because the car was not worthy of their attention. The one fault I knew of, the passenger door catch which needed tightening still needed tightening. Also a heads up for other new Jag owners - the 'A' service only enables them to look at the air filter and comment it's very very dirty, not even offering to change it for a new filter, for an increased negligible cost. I love the car and have committed to fixing it's apparent problems - only AWJ , I'm sure they are happy by this - undoubtedly as it will be too much effort or labour, will not be helping. I'll be using a local car loving mechanic who doesn't judge the car by the number plate or accessories or owner. Cheers Graham.

I took my fiat 500 in this week as it had started making a very loud noise when driving and was very sluggish. I had a new alternator fitted and my timing belt changed. I’m very fussy about who I take my car to and it has only ever gone to the Fiat garage since I bought it but I decided to go here as my dad uses them and thinks very well of them. My car has come back and is running as well as it did when it was new. It’s silent now both when it starts up and when I’m driving and it’s running a lot smoother and the fuel consumption and pick up is now as good as when I had it. Thank you guys so much, will definitely be the garage I use from now on. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. 10/10 recommend
