Gavin Tomkins1 StarI booked my wife's car for an MOT. The car failed on a print, which is fair enough. I fixed it. Took it back, and was booked in for a re-test. The problems started here. The re-test was booked in for AFTER the allowed re-test time. So My wife called them and was told to bring it in right away and they would sort. Baring in mind she has a baby in tow as well as our kids. She went, only to be told they couldn't do it and she should not have been told to bring the car in! They then booked her in another date, but would not be charged for her inconvenience. That date was today. She took the car in today only to be told that they could not do it and that she should not have been booked in AGAIN as there wasn't a ramp! As she was again with our baby and one of our children. She insisted it get sorted as it was getting beyond a joke. She left the car in the carpark. Came back and can see the car hadn't moved an inch. She went in to find the car had been passed BUT they tried to charge her for a re-test. Absolutely pathetic service. We will not be using them again. AVOID!Thursday 28th October 2021
carl slocombe5 StarTook my car for MOT. But it failed and they are doing the work for me and the price isn't that bad. Probably could of got it a bit cheaper but for the hassle of then taking back for an MOT, they did the next day and free retestTuesday 9th November 2021
Laura Lockhart2 StarHave used this garage several times for straight forward stuff like MOT and service and have been happy with the service provided and the professionalism of the staff. Most recently I took my car in when the engine warning came on and felt the quoted £1000 to resolve it was excessive and I took it to another garage for a second opinion. The issue was subsequently resolved for £20.Friday 10th September 2021
