If eligible, you can reduce the cost of your Home charger installation by £350 and Workplace chargers by up to £14,000 from 1st April 2022. OZEV have also made more funding available for Residential landlords of up to £70,000 per year and upto £35,000 per year for commercial landlords towards the cost of EV Charge point installation.

I needed an upgrade on my consumer unit and some fixes around the house that we recently purchased as the last owner didn't provide any certificate. Called Sean and his response was rapid, we arranged an appointment to carry out a full test. Like anyone using trade I was anxious about quality however that soon disappeared because Sean took the time to checked absolutely everything leaving no stone unturned and then issued a full report and recommendations. I appreciated Sean's integrity because I'm not an electrician and have to trust his word, I found his honesty rare and that's the reason I decided to have my consumer unit upgraded and the rest of the work done with Sean because he was open, honest and did a quality job testing. Oscar then came to do the work after Seans testing and credit is due to Oscar for his professionalism, strong work ethic and I appreciated him explaining the work he was doing as he went along, while answering any questions I had, I was really impressed by overall attitude to getting it right. Sean and Oscar both gave me the confidence in their quality of work as quality is important to me and they both work to a very high standard that can be rare to see in the trade world. The price was fair for the work and I wasn't over charged the reason I know this is by asking ex electrician's that I personally know and they agreed it's good value for the work. Overall not only did I have my electrical work carried out safely, they both really exceeded my expectations on quality and knowledge, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future and would highly recommend Mulcahy Electrical to anyone who is looking for any type of electrical work being carried out. Wouldn’t recommend as I couldn’t get the EICR work on my rental property completed and had to go elsewhere. Sean from Mulcahy electrical ltd responded to my add on my builder expressing interest even saying he would quote me cheaper than my original quote from elsewhere etc. I never got the quote. I had shortlisted him but had to chase him each time for a response. He claimed he would have to go down to view the property even though I had given him the work spec in advance and he hadn’t said anything earlier about having to visit. He said he would go that week but I haven’t heard back from him since, despite chasing. I don’t appreciate being messed about particularly as I had asked him direct if his silence had meant he was not interested in the work and he had assured me he was but then he still didn’t get back to me. There has to be a level of professionalism and accountability for workmen like him. I am unable to leave a review about him directly on mybuilder hence why I am leaving it here. Why express interest in the job if you’re not going to take it. I don’t appreciate being lied to and my time being wasted.
